Shameless Self-Promotion
If you're in the greater Boston metro area, specifically Cambridge, and you'd like a real musical treat, you should come to the Scales of Justice concert this Thursday Dec. 2 at 7:30 in the Ropes Gray room on the second floor of Pound Hall at Harvard Law School. We're Harvard Law School's best (and only) a cappella group. Tickets are $5, but we're offering free snacks and soda. I'm the musical director of the group (I arranged four of our seven songs!), and we've been working hard. I think we'll do a fine job, as we always somehow end up doing. There will also be a guest group from Northeastern University, called Distilled Harmony. I don't know anything about them, but they're singing "Silent Night" I think, so it's Christmassy. If you don't know me personally and you're in Cambridge, you probably also read Jeremy Blachman's blog. He's in the group too, and we're singing a song that he wrote, so you won't want to miss that. Also ABBA, They Might Be Giants, Toto, Temptations, etc. See you there!
