Pardon My Dust
It seems I'm always trying something to make my blog cooler. Three new improvements today:
1) I realized that when I changed my header last month and brought in this beautiful picture, I lost the brief description of who I am that appeared in my old header. A new visitor to my blog can't tell at a glance the type of person I am. So I added the material at the top of my sidebar--a short description of myself. If you want more, you can, as always, look under "Personal Profile."
2) In anticipation of the one-year anniversary of The Welcome Matt, the Archives are now contained in a drop-down menu on the sidebar, instead of a long list.
3) All that newly freed-up space on the sidebar needed to be used somehow, so I decided to follow the lead of some other blogs I've seen and let you know what it is that I am currently reading, and what I have recently read (because I know that you're dying to know). Click on the cover pictures to check the book out at Amazon, and if I've written comments (I hesitate to call what I write "reviews"), that'll be a link from the title of the book, below the cover.
