Oly-Oly-O!
My high school, Olympus High in Salt Lake City, is heading into the state men's basketball tournament as favorites. Apparently they are taking a cue from the Red Sox and spreading "Reverse the Curse" T-shirts around the school. I can't find verification on the web, but I seem to remember that in my senior year, 1994, we lost the state championship game, so I am very familiar with the Olympus Curse, just as I am with the Red Sox Curse as an adopted Bostonian. Sure, the Red Sox hadn't won since 1918, but the Titans haven't won ever--not even when my dad was a student there (this is a multigenerational thing). So it's about time, if you ask me. Go Oly!
