A Fitting Tribute
If anyone is wondering what to get me for Christmas, might I suggest The Complete Calvin & Hobbes. One thousand four hundred fifty-six pages of pure bliss.
I sound like an old codger when I say this, but every single time I pick up the comics these days--every single time!--I long for the days of Calvin & Hobbes and The Far Side. Why aren't the funnies funny anymore?
