Shelly is doing well, but still exhausted from 45 hours of contractions.

I hadn't realized you were so fond of the great state of Virginia. One wonders what her middle name might have been had Matt not passed the VA bar.

Of course, this also brings into question just what kind of influence Billy Joel's "Only the Good Die Young" will have in the Astle household now.

Aaron, we've had this conversation about "Only the Good Die Young" before. Although I understand that you do not agree with me, I believe that the character Virginia in that song is and will remain what her name implies. The first-person narrator (Billy himself?) is a whole load of temptation, but Virginia never gives in. She may die young, but Virginia is Good. Therefore, the Astle household will continue to listen to that song--it teaches us that we can be righteous in the face of evil. Just like my little girl will be.
