Postcards from the Edge

Shelly has a cousin in Arizona with six kids and very little to do over the summer. So they decided they would embark on a geography project and learn about each of the 50 states as a summer project. But, to make it more fun (and to involve friends and family in the excitement), they've made a goal of receiving a postcard from each state during the course of the summer.

Of course, they contacted us to tap our East Coast contacts for postcards from the states around here. We thought it was a wicked fun idea, and have taken up the torch. I think we deserve a prize or something, because (assuming our contacts come through) we either have been or soon will be directly responsible for postcards from the following states: Virginia (I stopped at a CVS on the way home from the library), DC (same CVS), Maryland, New York, Massachusetts, Georgia, Delaware, Mississippi, and South Carolina. Not bad.

But since I also have anonymous readers from throughout the globe (sure you do, Matt, especially after the nearly two-week hiatus from blogging), I thought I'd ask if there's anyone out there from the following states who could lend a helping hand by sending a postcard to a family in need:

Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Hawaii, Louisiana, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin.

If so, email me and I'll send you their address.
