Life Responds
This morning, I got the following email from Life Cereal, in response to my email of Feb. 19 (see below):

Hello Mr. Matthew Astle:

Due to many factors, we have not been able to respond to your concern as promptly as we would wish. Please accept our apologies.
Whenever a consumer takes the time to contact us, we are eager to respond. Please be assured that your point of view has been shared with the appropriate corporate management. It will be given careful consideration and kept in mind for the future.
The comments of our consumers are always welcome and we appreciate having them on record.

Gosh, that sure makes me feel special and warm. I suppose my email didn't really ask a question that needs to be answered, but still--some sort of explanation of why they insist on printing that frighteningly ugly back-of-the-box would be nice. If I weren't so in love with Life, perhaps I would boycott it after this episode.
